Ratified as part of the MPEG-4 standard (MPEG-4 Part 10), this ultra-efficient technology gives you excellent results across a broad range of bandwidths, from 3G for mobile devices to iChat AV for video conferencing to HD for broadcast and DVD. Massive Quality, Minimal Files H.264 uses the latest innovations in video compression technology to provide incredible video quality from the smallest amount of video data. This means you see crisp, clear video in much smaller files, saving you bandwidth and storage costs over previous generations of video codecs. H.264 delivers the same quality as MPEG-2 at a third to half the data rate and up to four times the frame size of MPEG-4 Part 2 at the same data rate. H.264 is truly a sight to behold. Scalable from 3G to HD and BeyondH.264 achieves the best-ever compression efficiency for a broad range of applications, such as broadcast, DVD, video conferencing, video-on-demand, streaming and multimedia messaging. Numerous broadcast, cable, videoconferencing and consumer electronics companies consider H.264 the video codec of choice for their new products and services. | Administrator ![]() | QuickTime Pro makes it easy to create a slideshow from your favorite pictures. Since QuickTime supports a large variety of image formats, you can use nearly any type of image in your slideshow. Create a SlideshowHere’s how to get started in just a few, easy steps: Place all the images you wish to use in your slideshow in a single folder. Label the images with a common name followed by sequential numbers in the order you wish them to appear in your slideshow (in this example: park01.jpg, park02.jpg, park03.jpg, etc...). Note: It is best if all the images are the same size. Step 2 Open QuickTime Pro and choose Open Image Sequence from the File menu. An “Open” dialog box will appear. Step 3Within the dialog box, locate the folder with all your slideshow images. Select any picture in the folder and click the “Open” button. An “Image Sequence Settings” dialog box now appears. Select the amount of time for each image to appear by choosing a frame rate and then clicking the “OK” button. Step 4A typical frame rate setting is 2 or 3 seconds per frame. Select Save from the File menu. A “Save” dialog box will appear. Enter the name of your slideshow. Click the “Save” button. Step 5 Congratulations! You’re finished. Your slideshow is now ready for playback. Simply press the Play button in QuickTime Player to view the results.

Click “Apply.” Step 3 Choose “New Audio Recording” from the file menu. (Be sure your audio input device is connected.) Step 4 Click the red Capture button and begin recording with your audio input device. Click the black Stop button when you’re done recording. Step 5 Rename your file. The default name for your podcast will be “Audio.” If you would like to change the name simply select the file, click the right mouse button and choose “Rename” and name the file accordingly. Congratulations — you now have a file that is ready for publishing. For inclusion in the iTunes Music Store, you’ll need to provide the link to the podcast RSS feed and all episodes within a podcast must be available as either AAC (.m4a) or MP3* audio enclosures. Happy podcasting. * QuickTime 7 Pro cannot create MP3 files. You can use iTunes to convert files to MP3.
